About me
I create engaging digital experiences. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working for clients such as De Beers, Orange, Xbox, Sainsburys, Heineken, and Virgin. A background in product design has helped inspire an approach to my work whereby the understanding of emerging technologies and methods of user interaction have become fundamental.

An application that can be accessed via mobile, tablet and desktop which helps manage the transfer of new customers to EDF Energy - rewarding them with real time energy monitoring, money saving tools, predicted billing and helpful tips to make your home greener seems like a tall order. But these screens represent part of a complete digital solution which achieves just that!

When new recruits have passed their 3 month probabtion period, they receive a lovely box of cupcakes courtesy of AKQA. Sharing of the cupcakes is encouraged, to make it a little easier for them to meet other colleagues outside of their immediate team. This greeting card, delivered with the cupcakes, contains a welcome note along with some useful info for new starters. The illustration cheekily acknowledges the lengths at which some existing employees go to to get their hands on the new starters' cupcakes!

After Orange and T-Mobile merged to form Everything Everywhere, we were asked to design a website for the new company which could enable them to become 'search leaders' amongst their competitors. Handset explorer, auto suggest, and smart terms were all included. This was part of a larger project including mobile search & image recognition.

A cracking night to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday over at the Stags Head in Dalston. I created some promotional pieces for them to help spread the word and also raise some cash to donate to the very worthy charity Youth Music. The lettering on the poster was drawn freehand using a Wacom tablet.

AKQA were invited to present their thoughts on the future of mobile and digital to senior stakeholders at T-Mobile. The presentation followed Dave and Kate, a couple in their mid thirties, as they went about a typical day in 2013 and interacted with eachother and their surroundings. The work here highlights just a few of the many concepts that formed part of a much larger presentation.

Each month, on the last Friday before pay day, AKQA treat their staff to a free full english breakfast before work! To spread the word for the event, suitably called 'Fryday', I created a typographic poster and an email newsletter to be shared internally.

The lovely people over at Xbox.com asked us to turn their mind-numbingly boring monthly analytics reports into beautiful, easy to digest infographics that they could share with their team. Oh, and they need to auto-update each month too. The result transformed vast amounts of complex data in simple, easy to understand visuals - grouped into navigable chapters.
